There is a special cable (i think it is 40-60 bucks) but it connects your VCR to your USB port on your computer and converts it to DVD format, or whatever video format you would like. It's better than spending 40-50 bucks at a drug store to have them convert it just for 1 VHS Tape.
THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THE INFORMATION. NOW, I DON'T HAVE THE CAMCORDER, BUT ONLY A MINI DVD-R DISK WITH A VIDEO CLIP THAT I WANT TO DOWNLOAD INTO MY PC TO BE ABLE TO SEE IT. I TRIED TO DO IT, BUT MY PC IS UNABLE TO "READ" THE VIDEO CLIP. I HAVE A DVD VIEWER/RECORDER ON MY PC.
Lay Off the Caps. Did you Read The Instructions that Came with Your New Recorder? Did you Finalize the Disc?
fcovargas, knockoff the caps lock as is referred to as shouting which is a forum rule no no. 9. No ALL CAPS MESSAGES or you will be banned (you know, turn the caps lock off before you type anything).
If you want to record the live video, here is a simple method First you should capture the video and save it on your computer(GOE Video MX Pro is a professional program to do that, and you can edit the live video), and then you can use other software to copy the video to CD. you can find the program and see more.
