Hopefully the ifo (index file) is tucked in that folder m8. Try the latest Nero Burnin rom.

    Hi
    Thanks for the responce,however
I dont have any files at all, only the 4 VOB files, they were burned on a DVD+R as data only. Ive copied them to my hard drive, have been doing some reading up and used ifoedit to create the ifo files, however when i put all the created files and the VOBS into a VIDEO_TS folder i am not able to burn it with prassi.
    Any ideas?

    regards

I assume that the 4 VOBs are from the same movie?
    and are named correctly?
and were decrypted when originally ripped from the DVD?
And that you did a get VTS sectors on the ifo files after you made them?

I think you can use IfoEdit "Create IFO's" to create the files needed.

    Hi Maul
yes the 4 VOBS are from one movie

they are named VTS_01_1 through to VTS_01_4

"and were decrypted when originally ripped from the DVD?
And that you did a get VTS sectors on the ifo files after you made them?"

these 2 im not sure on, i believe the VOBS were taken direct from the DVD that they were on and then burned to a DVD+R as data.

    thanks
    si

can you watch the vobs on your hard drive?
If they appear as garbage then they haven't been decrypted. you'll need to rip them off the DVD. Not sure if dycypter will work with no IFO files and the vobs in the wrong folder etc, you'll have to try.

When you have made the ifo's close IFOedit then open one of the ifo files (with IFOedit) and click get 'VTS sectors' at the bottom it will throw up a few boxes, just click OK in each of them, when it's done close IFOedit again.

Your new IFO's are ready to go now. Check that the DVD plays by opening one of the IFO's and clicking play DVD.

Ok did that everything fine so far

"Your new IFO's are ready to go now. Check that the DVD plays by opening one of the IFO's and clicking play DVD"

Ok when i open either of the IFO files(VIDEO_TS.IFO or VTS_01_1/IFO)it says the following:

WARNING "no valid DVD Video Volume could be located" and asks me if i want to continue. If i press yes i see the film.

Ive just loaded the VIDEO and AUDIO TS folder into Prassi and its burning:>)
Hope this works, will let ya know in 30 minutus:)
    thanks again

you are welcome, I've been old enough to drink for longer than I care to remember.

Ifoedit always gives me that error, you can click OK and proceed with viewing the movie anyway
