How can I make MP3 audio tracks from a DVD (preferably using DVD Decrypter to start)? I have a 'concert' DVD: basically a CD but with the video from their tour. I just want the audio to put on a cd. The DVD is even cut into tracks for each song already. I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CREATE MP3 FILES FROM THE AUDIO ON THE DVD. THANKS a lot and I really appreciate any and all help. -Tom IF YOU KNOW OF GOOD PROGRAMS FOR THIS, JUST POST THE NAME OR LINK HERE-THANKS.
With BeSweet, http://dspguru.doom9.net/, you can convert AC3 to WAV (audio CD) or MP3. I started to rip all individual AC3 tacks (one AC3 track for each song), and then converted the AC3 tracks to WAV. Basically I have two problems with this: First I don't know how to use the normalize function, so that it searches through all the AC3 tracks and uses one value for all the tracks. Second there is a small disturbance from song to song, lets say the end of song one doesn’t mach anymore with the beginning of song two. For these reasons I ripped the whole concert as one AC3 track, now I can normalize, converted AC3 to WAV and then cut the WAV file to individual songs. More work, but a better result.
[bold]DVD Audio Ripper[/bold] can do this easily. DVD Audio Ripper is a software to rip DVD to mp3 or wav. You can use DVD Audio Ripper to extract DVD audio track (soundtrack), convert DVD to mp3 and convert DVD to wav with complete sound effects. http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-audio-ripper.html
