How do i detect what media i have?

    I read somewhere on this site that there is some free software out there that tells you the manufacturer of disks you put in the drive. I think its called "disk identifier" or something like that but i can't find it on line. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Try putting "DVD Identifyer" in the search engine above.

    If you're burning movies, you should already be using DVD Decrypter, since its free and the best utility out there, and it will show the media id of the disk in ISO write mode.
