It's not on the box, not on the specs page in the manual and not listed by any of the sites I googled. The reason I ask is that the DVDs I have say to beware of 2.4 speed recorders. Any insights or suggestions please? Thanks, Chris

    billie77,
Welcome to the forum. I have seen those on the Maxells so if your burner can burn at 4X use that speed. That language is the usual Lawyer talk to exonerate the Company of Problems and Liability.

P.S. Tried it at 2.4X and had no problems

The info given doesn't say at what speeds it will or won't record at so I can't determine if it will go at 4x, but thanks for trying to answer the question, Chris

    kuri77 ,
You can use DVDDecrypter, Nero and a few other programs will tell you what the write speeds are of those disks

Thanks for trying to help but the question is not about disc speeds but recorder speed, Chris
