    I see, thanks. Though what about, flashing the Hitachi with the benq custom firmware. Could that work?

    Does anyone know if I can flash it? I want to use a non-stealth firmware but there isn't any made specifically for the Hitachi to my knowledge. Is it possible to put one of the non-stealth Benq custom firmwares on my Hitachi?

    I would love to but I don't have the money to buy a new drive at the moment so I have to make do with what I have and an unresponsive Benq with its key and and an old Hitachi with no original key are what I have.
