How do i find my IP?

    I have just got myself a laptop and would like to ftp via wireless with my desktop, im guessing I can use a ftp program, but how do I find out what my laptop isp is?

    I believe you mean IP, not ISP...(that's Internet Service Provider)

    To find your computer's IP, go to Start, run and type in: ipconfig

    ok, i did what u said but a small black screen pops up for about 1/2 second then dissapears b4 I can read it???

    Sorry about that Tej, I forgot to mention...

    Go to start, run, type in: cmd

    then in the DOS box, type in ipconfig
