how do i get a avi file to a mpeg file

    could u please tell me a converter i try many but when i play the movies it comes up with the site in the movie

    i try that gx trancoder but it seems as it dont change avi moives files in to mpeg its only music would you be able and try help all i want 2 do is put avi on to disc but my dvd player dont play what be the best thing to do

    thanks. what does this mean when it comes up with wrong codec or there may be no video in the folder
