I have a okidata pin printer and Win XP box with no printer plug connection. I tried a adapter cord to USB with software for this purpose. It did not work, all I get is strange text that makes no sense. I have purchased a PCI card to try but suspect it will be the same result. The drivers for the printer are part of Windows and are current Any help would be great. Thanks

need to use a parallel port printer cable not usb as driver is not setup for usb. why are you going to use a dot matrix printer for as bubble jets & lasers have better resolution?
