how do i get my eeprom?

    my problem is my hd is damaged and it wont load past the xbox logo screen, nor will it load the dash. i want to replace the hd but how do i get my eeprom onto the new hd with the old one being damaged.

    Or will a modchip work?

    I'm waiting for my chip but I have been told that a mod chip will help.

    But I've got a 250 gig hdd ready thus I cannot get on xbl. I'm gonna try some other 3rd parties. If you dont have xbl, upgrading ur hdd is a non-issue. good luck.
