I patched it with a dldi, I made a ds rom under 3MB to make it read, but I get nothing but a window that says ... when I try to boot it. I even put my roms in a seperate folder and have it as is so it could read, and it boot, but it says it has no roms. what am I doing wrong?
I have to wait too long to get it to boot and have become frustrated with it. how do you get it to work with a slot 1 micro sd reader without being limited to using 3MB of games? if possible how do you get nester ds 0.3 to play NES games on your root without using that damn one game loader?
Note that I am assuming your using only the EZFlash V and not the 3-1 Expansion (which isn't really needed for this) I can't get nester DS to work on my EZFlash V (without preloading the games into it) as it dosn't seem to have a DLDI area. However I have got NesDS to work fine and load games straight from the MicroSD (which should bypass the 3MB limit). Just DLDI patch NesDS and copy it onto your card, and copy over your NES games (I put my test game in a folder called NES). Make sure you use the .nds version
mr. hanky, I followed your advice, but all I get is "no roms found" I would be grateful if I could get a step by step. all I see on the internet are instructions for sd-based slot 2 devices.
That basically is the step-by-step, lol. I got NesDS from here Grabbed the EZFlash V DLDI and Win32 GUI Patcher here Run the patcher, choose the folder your DLDI patch is in, choose the NesDS.nds file. Then patch. Copy the Patched NesDS to your card (in put mine in the root) Copy over your NES roms (I put mine in a folder called NES) Run the NesDS file, then just browse to the games and run them.
