   please can any one tell me how to get rid of subtitles on a film that i have down loaded as i don,t speak or read sweadish and its getting in the way of the movie.

   If this is an xvid/divx/vcd or svcd, you have no chance as the subs are already part of the video stream!! Although some SVCD compilations can have optional subtitles!
