Ok well I'm going to try to help you both. First off this helps if you used UXE Auto Installer. It may help with others but I haven't tryed. Ok so if you used UXE Auto Installer and transfered the linux file to your Xbox HD and installed it and now you want to uninstall it then you just click the restore MS backup button if you created a backup. But if you actcidentily deleted the Evolution X dashboard and the Xbox dashboard and when you turn on your Xbox it brings up a loading bar that says trying to connect to Xbox Live to update your dashboard and then it says unable to connect to Xbox Live then here is what I did and for some reason it worked. All I did was pop in Halo 2. Clicked Xbox Live and it connected to Xbox Live somehow and downloaded my Microsoft dashboard for me. Don't ask why but it worked. Then you gotta go into your Microsoft dash and go into the Network Settings and Change the IP address from manual to automatic. Then you can connect to Xbox Live. Then since one of you said you wanted to be able to mod you can get this easy Splinter Cell save at http://softmodding101.moonfruit.com/ and there is also a nice easy tutorial there too. I assume you want to mod Halo 2 and that will help you. But with that save you can only mod the new Halo 2 maps. But like you wanted to do with the UXE Auto Installer you could mod the old maps too but you couldn't go on Live which was a con. But you could use them in System Link games through Xlink Kai or Xbox Connect. So it's really up to you. I have a friend that moddified his linux file save so that it was his main dash and he could get on Live with it. So it just depends on what you're trying to be able to do.

Let me know if this little tutorial helped you.

Let me ask and say this to you...I did use the restore option and it did take me back to how my Xbox was in the beginning however when Softmodding it again I noticed that the Creating Ms Backup & Creating Mod Backup was still left on the xbox hdd. And really basically all I had to do was just install the Softmod and install Evox again. I did make a backup copy of my Ms folder onto my computer. What Im wanting to do is restore my xbox like from the very beginning before Softmod. How am I able to do that? My only choices are:
    1.Create MS Backup
    2.Create Mod Backup
    3.Restore Ms Backup
    4.Restore Mod Backup
    5.Delete Ms Backup
    6.Delect Mod Backup
    7.Install Softmod
    8.Install Evox
    9.Install UnleashX
    10.Patch Ms 5960
    11.Settings
    12.Saves Manger
    13.File Manager
    14.Reset FTP
    15.Reset Network
    16.Open Tray
    17.Close Tray
    18.Launch DVD
    19.Restart Xbox
    20.Turn Off Xbox

2)Also I have a new hdd coming within the next couple of days. As many times as Im able to FTP my xbox and restore it and makes changes, when I upgrade to the new hdd will I be able to do the same thing as many times?
