How do I install a license.key file?

I installed the program but it is still showing trial version. The software came with a license.key file but when I double click it I get the registry editor asking if I am sure I want to add the information, I say yes then it says

"Cannot import the specified file is not a registry script."

 

Have you tried reinstalling the programme??

Or have you tried re downloading the license.key file.

Also i do hope this is a LEGAL licence key file!!

What is your OS. If it is XP, edit the file and look for

at the top.

 

You can also try using the program itself to import the .key file. Like AnyDVD, usually in the registration section, it will ask for the .key file and you simply point to it.
