I have just got my PS3Key and it seems to work fine.
It allows me to install packages, I can ftp to my ps3. all that stuff works fine.
However when I try to launch a game, it just dumps me back to the main PS3 screen.
I have tried flex manager and open manager and the same thing happens.
Both list the games fine, I even managed to get the covers to show up, but I'm not sure what I am missing.
The only 2 games I have right now are the sports champions, and start the party.
I copied the whole game over, but they do not launch, only dumps me back out to the main screen.
Is there something else I have to install ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

OK, forgive me, but I am slowly starting to figure out how this works.

I guess I need to have an original game in the drive. I use open manager to select the game, and when I launch it, it basically goes back to the menu, and the system thinks that the game I want to launch is in the drive, is this correct ?

I was able to launch start the party with sports champions in the drive.
I thought the ps3key didn't require a disc in the drive, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Anything else I'm missing here, or is this basically how it works ?

You dont need a disk in the drive.

There should be a line of text that says something along the lines of apps/PS3 GAME.

Load the game via the manager, go to XBM, select the item name as described above.

Only a few games I have encountered so far still need disk in drive.

Make sure you ahve the latest firmware on your PS3 Key as well
