   I want to postprocess mpeg video like I do with DivX/Xvid, and have seen that people say it can be done, but how do I hook up things to have ffdshow getting it should intercept mpeg video?

   FDDSHOW is for MPEG4 decoding if im not mistaken. MPEG1 should come with Windows and MPEG2 plaback is obtained by installing a dvd player.

   to postprocess any video you should go to codecs section and enable Raw video (the last format). that's it!
