I have a cd for typing that I would like to not have to have the cd in it in order to run it. I have the original cd, and I have Blindwrite, but I have no idea how to create an mds or similar file in order to do so.

    Thanks.

use ISOpen or Magic ISO to create your image file of the CD. then you can mount the image as a virtual drive using Daemon Tools.

Won't that create a huge image of the file?

I remember seeing a .mds file for Battlefield 2 and it was less than 5 mb. If I create it in the way you are suggesting, won't it come out to around 600 mbs or whatever the cd is?

I have tried it that way by the way and for some reason it didn't work. The program still asked me to insert the cd. I was using Virtual Daemon Manager 3.47

    Thanks

No-CD cracks require dissembly of the .exe though, I just want to do this through an image.

Thanks for the tip on "mini-images".
