just remember its all about QUALITY of posts, not QUANTITY. you could post 2500 times to become an addict, but if your posts are useless and pointless, you won't get much respect around here. don't worry about your member status, you're a part of the forum group, and thats all that matters...

Is that an aproximation or a fact. Also dont be so eager to upgrade your status. In time youl find that thoose word mean nothing. Its all about the quality of your post. So dont be so eager.

However i do want to say something in his defence. I got to 100 posts as a newbie. Now personally i didnt really care that much being a newbie as such. However i did care that when i was trying to help people i kept on getting:
We are sorry but newbies cannot post more than once every 3 minutes.

So maybe that should be automated when you get to 50 you become a junior member.
But after that keep it as it is.
    Just my oppy!

I didn't get to be a senior until nigh on 600 (58something I think) But most of what I post is in the xbox forums, with the odd foray into dvd burning and pc troubles.. It doesn't make any difference to me.. Quality not quantity. That's what matters. There are sites I frequent where I have only one or two posts after more than a year, and others where I have topped 1000 in 4 months. Just depends if there's something worth answering, or something I can help with.
Who wants to be called a spam-king?

why dont you all take a leaf out of drd's book, titles mean nothing.
Dont worry about the post count just have fun and eventually with the auto promotion you will go up, other wise it just seems that some people are only concerned with one thing.........STATUS

Yo guyrus.. I thought that's what we had kinda agreed on.. who cares how many, it's the quality that counts. I see people go from new to senior in about 3 days. That's just spamming as far as I'm concerned. Took me over 12 months of hard work in the console jungle, and d'ya know.. I didn't even notice for nearly a week. That's how much it worries me.. lol

    Blade7866 and shauntay

for a start your sig is too big.

    Signatures

These rules exist to make viewing the forum as pleasant as possible to all users. Even though you might think signatures with large pictures look cool, some might find them extremely annoying.

    1. Text-only signatures should have at most 5 lines of text.

    2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.

    3. If you use an animated picture in the signature, it should not be too distractive. Eg. blinking images or images with quick movement are not allowed.

    4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.

    5. All the abovementioned rules for forum posts apply also to the signatures.

Violation of these rules does not lead to an immediate ban. However if requested user must edit his or her signature to fit these guidelines.
