How do I place MP3 over a avi video file ?

    I have an MP3 which I'd like to be playing over a video. So the two are merged into one file. I want to keep the videos audio but have the MP3's audio overlapping it as well. Which program allows me to do this. I would usually just research what to do but I cant find any program yet which allows me to do what I want it to do.

    If your dealing with an AVI, then VirtualDub and Audacity can do it.
