    Hello

I have been trying to get video files and dvd dics to play smoothly in full screen on an older computer. At the moment it plays anything in a window up to about half the size of the screen ok, anything over doesn't play properly. I upgraded the RAM from 256 to 512mb but this doesn't seem to have made a difference.

I called a shop here to ask what I could do and the guy said it could be a number of things such as memory (I can't upgrade that any more, it's at max), graphics card (which is what i was looking into upgrading), hard disk (?), wrong settings of errors with the dvd drive (I assume this shouldn't affect files on the hd playback).

It's a Hewlett Packard celeron 1.20 ghz system HP P6373A-ABG 510A, only 4mg of video memory (on-board) shows up in display properties in windows. However in this link that ddp gave me, it states my system has 11mg? Perhaps this is just a slightly different spec. Mboard has no AGP slot, only pci.

Is there any software solutions or tweaking I could do that could help remedy the problem?

Or what hardware things need doing?

    All help very welcome, thanks.
