I decided that since my modchipped XBox is running XBMC 1.1.0, I would like to update it.
I have my XBox networked to the PC via crossover cable and everything was working fine.
Problem 1: When I was poking around in Settings I found that there were other dashboards (I had been using the default blue kinda one for ages - the very ugly buit functional one). Ok so I changed to "Mayhem" or "Mayhem II" and I have a new dash, but when I tried to change back I went to Settings>Appearance and pressed but nothing happened.
OK I thought I will upgrade and probably have a new dash to use anyway. No big deal.

Problem 2: I didn't read as carefully as I should and although I made a copy of the XBMC folder to my PCs hdd (using the xbox file system, copy and move) I copied the new dash files across (again using the xbox's file system NOT ftp - I know, dumb!)
Then when I went to boot the XBOX it comes up with a splash screen (TECH) but then freezes and I can't do anything.
Holding the thumbsticks clicked in and rebooting does nothing, holding down Y and the white button does nothing.

I want to try to fix via ftp but I have d/l Filezilla and can't seem to see the XBox (although my ftp skills are ordinary at best).

    The XBMX upgrade I d/l was XBMC-SVN_2007-12-03_rev10891-T3CH

Any help would be greatly apreciated. What is the easiest way to get to the files on the xbox and to change them back to the way they were?
I will use ftp from now on.

Modchipped Xbox.... very simple, get AID v4.10 and install the dashboard of choice (XBMC)
