ok, everytime i try to use an AOL program, a little pop-up comes up saying: "the snmaster.idx database has been removed, please restore it." and i do not know how, and i have searched for help online, but so far no help whatsoever. i have tryed un-installing, then re-installing AOL like 3 times, i have done 2 system restores, but it's still the same. can anyone help?
did you ever find an answer to your problem?? I am having the same problem with the snmaster.idx database.
well,then...could you tell me what forum i need to go in...i was just simply asking the first person on this thread because i was having the same problem thank you.
Does anyone know how to restore the snmaster.idx file for AOL. It does not say my file is locked or skipped, only that when I restart my computer that this file is missing. I have unstalled and nothing works. Thanks
Same thing happens to me. I have not been able to fix. Aol told me to download AOL 9.0 VR that it has the updates and would fix the problem but have not done.
I've just got rid of this problem finally....when you uninstall AOL, it keep some files in your computer....you have to uninstall.....then DELETE all remaining aol folders.......it will let you re-install
I am also getting an error message re: snmaster.idx file is missing. I cannot connect to IE or AOL Please help! Thanks
