How do I run TF2 without Pixel Shader 1.1?

    I spent 8 hours downloading the game yesterday, and then when I finally tried it I got a message saying my graphics don't support pixel shading. I have a Dell Inspiron 8200, and I was wondering if there is any way I could still play TF2. I really don't care if it looks bad, I just want to try it. Anyone know of a way to bypass that message or something?

    go into proporties and enter -novids -mat_forcehardwaresync 0 if that doesnt work try a 1 dont have my other computer in front of me so i dont remember if its 1 or 0

    note mine has pixel shaders but not vertex shaders so im not compleatly sure if it will run
