how do i secure my wireless router

    Its looking for a security key and a nas id. where can I find these. thanks for any help

    disc should have come with router. what router are you using?

    when setting up the router either by disk or online, you either make your security key or 1 is generated for you depending on the router. linksys routers you input your own key.

    you can only generate a key through wep protection

    check your settings to see what type of security...ie WAP and SSID

    wap is mobile internet, and ssid is the name of router.

    your looking for either wep, wpa or wpa2.
