How do I slick my hair back?

I was wondering if anyone knew how I could slick my hair back and have it stay. Cuz I have tried gel and hairspray and some other stuff but it won't stay down completely. Any ideas?

 

i just grew mine out long and ponytailed it. problem solved. ^.^

if u want like a stylish slick back this is a couple of ways. after u get out of the shower slick it back and then use a hair dryer on your hair. or use american crew pomade buy a big jar at great clips for $11.00. also if u want i permanent slick back when u are watchin tv just keep combin your hair back

 

4 years from when i got a crew cut to when it was past my shoulders; then i donated it and started growin' again.

nah man american crew pomade is the best cause it smells really nice unlike most pomade.

 

For you guys who have their hair slicked back - Is it bad for hot weather (summer)? Cuz here summer is like a month away...
