How do I stop apps opening files

    How do I stop apps opening files and the apps icon on the files. DVD Shrink 3.0 beta 5 does this.

    Go to folder options, then file types, and find the extension of the files you want, or don't want, a program to open, you can then change the default program to open those files, as well as change the icon
