How do i take a clip form a DVD and put it into a mpg format?

    I'm sure there are a dozen other ways to do this, but here goes:

    Use DVD Shrink to edit start and end point of your clip. Guide here for that:http://www.dvdshrink.info/reauthor_intermediate.php
    Then use Auto GK to convert the clip to AVI. You'll need to download the divx codec separately if you wish to use divx.
