How do I tell if my PC drive can burn DVDs or not? Is there a supposed to be a logo on the drive saying DVD or something? All mine says is Compact Disk ReWritable High Speed, nothing else.

    DHua,
On Windows, you can tell what kind of burner you have by simply going to My Computer. For DVD burners, you'll see DVD-RW, DVD-R or DVD+RW on the drive. If you can't view it this way, you can right click on My Computer->Properties->Hardware Tab->Device Manager. You'll see what kind of drive you have on the directory of devices you have on your PC. I'm afraid what you have is a CD burner.

Mine says CD-RW Drive. I am pretty sure that it's a CD Burner. I might buy a DVD Burner from newegg sooner or later. Thanks for helping.
