Hi. I'm having trouble with converting an entire MP3 album into individual tracks for a CD-R. Right now the whole album is just one large track. Can anyone tell me how to take the MP3 and break it up into tracks? Thanks.

What audio software are you using that might be helpful? If you have anything like Sound Forge, Cool Edit, etc., you could simply open the mp3 and save as a wav file. I then use CD Architect to put markers in and burn cd.

I had an associate tell me to use Nero Wave Editor, which I have but am not totally familiar with yet. Anyone used this to break up an MP3?

Thanks for your input. The main reason I'm asking is when you download something like an entire album, it comes up as one track. I need to break it up into accessible tracks, like a normal CD.

if you physically divide the track in several MP3 files, you'll have small silences at the beginning and end of tracks.

If there shouldn't be any pauses, then I would use a non destructive editor:
"Split Track" function in the properties of the track with Nero or preferably in the Track Editor of Feurio.
