Hi, simple enough problem here. I downloaded a game in .bin format, complete with CUE file.
I tried using Daemon Tools to emulate it but for some reason once I mounted an image nothing happened, no installation process started or anything even though it says that an image was indeed mounted successfully and even though I followed a step-by-step instruction! Does anyone have any suggestions as to why that happened and how I can get around it?

I then downloaded Alcohol 120% to do the job, but couldn't find anything on the internet to help me use it (all Google searches come up with "AA meetings" etc lol). So can anyone give me instructions as to how to emulate a file using Alcohol 120%?

Another possible solution is to convert the .bin file into something more manageable where a program isn't needed to get it up and running, so any suggestions about that would be much appreciated, although that's more of a last resort.

    Much obliged!

EDIT: I should point something out. I first successfully emulated the game using Daemon Tools, where I mounted an image successfully and the installation process began instantaneously, before installing an updated version of the game, which unfortunately required an access code to operate (which I couldn't obtain). I uninstalled the game in an attempt to go back to the version I downloaded and using Daemon Tools to again mount an image so it would work without a CD, but found that Daemon Tools emulated the CUE file and nothing happened, no installation, nothing. The CUE file is emulated, but I just don't know how to start my game up!!

Sorry if it gets a bit complicated, but bear with me and help me out if you can!!!!

So once it was mounted, did you ever check if the drive appeared under "My Computer"? Also make sure that you haven't accidently "set number of devices" to 0 on Daemon Tools.
