Hi, i was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to burn some mpeg files i have downloaded through bearshare to dvd so i can play it on my home dvd player. I have nero vision and the oem suite , but i tried using the make a dvd video in the nero vision and when it burnt and i put it in my dvd player and got nothing, any help would be appreciated.
That showed nothing on there about how to take mpeg files and burn them to a dvd, thats what i need to know how to do, is there anyway you could tell me or someone please!!
Did the DVD you burned play in your computer? How old is your DVD player? What exactly happened (messages or such) when you put the DVD in your set top player?
The guide gwen linked should do it. I thought the one i linked had it in there somewhere but that was more for regular movie burning using nero. If your burning fails after following the guide, post your burn log and we can see if you are having conflicts. Here is where the nero history logs hide, depending on which version you are using: [bold]Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt[/bold] These things record all burns, and we only need the last one. The burns are seperated by something like this: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ====== *** NeroAPI, History File *** ====== Windows XP 5.1 IA32-xxxx-xxxx- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- that was from a Nero 6 log, but 7 looks much like that. Underneath the divider is the operating system, and right below that is the begining of the serial number. When posting a log, just include the last burn log, and be sure to edit out your serial numbers by typing xxxx over them, or deleting them before posting to the forum.
