I was wondering how do you copy your halo2 files on ur xbox e drive and computers e drive?And if you are only trying to softmod your new maps you download on ur halo2 game do you still have to copy ur whole halo2 game files?
To copy Halo 2 to your computer all you need to do is ftp to your Xbox while on an installed Evox dashboard or ect. Then make sure you put your Xbox's settings on Auto Run Games: No and click save and exit. Then pop in Halo 2 and go into the E drive and copy over the game files except the campaign maps which have numbers infront of them. Then back up and go into the E drive. Go into the games folder. Create a folder in there called Halo 2. Then copy all the files there. Restart your Xbox and under Applications should be Halo 2 and then you're ready to mod!
Oh yeah, if you want to mod the new maps then all you need to do is ftp to your Xbox. Then open up the E folder and go into tdata. Then find the folder that ends in 64. In there should be three folders and inside those are the new map files. Make two folders on your computer, one called Original Maps and one called Modded Maps. Place a copy of the new maps in both folders. Then you are ready to mod them!
