how do u ftp and be online at the same time?

ok every time i want to ftp i have to change the ip adress on my pc from auto detect to 192.168.0.1 . then wen i try to get online it wont let me i have to change the ip adress back to auto detect. if u know any way to fix that problem and alloow me to be online wile im ftping then please reply. my xbox is softmoded and i have unleashx dashboard. thank u

 

go to your control panel/network and internet connections/network connections/
then right click your main internet connection and go to properties,then go to advanced and check share internet connections box and there you go.

 

i got lost when i tried to do this i couldnt find some of the things ur were talking about

 

just look for your network connections and turn your main internet connection to share connection.

 

i know were my main conection is but i dont know were to find the share conection

 

ok if your going through a router go to network connection on your main connection to the internet right click on it and go to properties-advanced then check the share connection with other lines or users and there u go
