how do u get dead pixels?

is it from just banging ur psp?
can u get dead pixels from playing it too much?
if u can get dead pixels from just playing...im 2 scared to turn my psp on now...lol

 

Dead pixels appear from leaving a still image on your psp too long with the backlit on I think.

The blinker tool *supposeditly* takes them off lol

Dead pixels can happen many ways, the aforementioned and sometimes even dropping your psp or rugged use could cause dead pixels

Dead pixels(black) cannot be fixed they are like HOT pixels(white), where as Stuck pixels ( stuck opn either red green or blue) can be fixed using programs like the blinker tool blade was talking about

 

So u gotta replace the LCD if u have dead pixels???

 

Only if there all over your screen and you get fed up with it, otherwise there unoticable..

 

i heard you can get them from leaving it in intense heat like in Charlotte or Atlanta or Florida in the summer at 1:00pm

 

how/where do you get the blinker tool or program to remove dead pixels? excuse me if i misunderstood you but you said that the blinker tool Will REMOVE dead pixels?

 

I think he said blinker tool only works for stuck pixels or something.. so if I want to prevent dead pixels…I shud set my psp settings so that backlight turns off after 1 min or something?

 

you are being too careful.

just play it normally,take care of it, get a hard case, and if it was well built, got a good LCD, you are fine.

 

you can get dead pixels regardless. lcd screens in general have that issue, not just psps.

 

i had a nightmare last nite lol...
i found lots of dead pixels on my psp lcd screen...im not joking lol

 

I found out I had 2 dead pixels on my screen because I bought it from ebay and it banged in the mail.

I dont think you can say u have 2 dead pixel just b.c you bought your psp on ebay. I bought mine from Wal-mart and i have 2 dead pixels. If you only have two you should feel blessed. That is virtually undetectable. Be glad you didnot have a lot like 8 or more. Every lcd has dead pixels so 2 being caused by banging probably isnot the case.

 

Well he did say he had it since last year at december

 

buy a logitech shell case. touch wood has kept my psp mint.
