You might try searching this. I believe there are threads explaining how to backup Sims.

Search for the sims. Flip said that he thinks there are already threads posted explaining how to backup the games.

Use the search function, it's at the top of every aD page.

    Which one?

    The Sims has Safedisc 1.40.004
The Sims 2 has Safedisc 3.20.022
The Sims 2 University has Safedisc 4.00.001
The Sims : House Party has Safedisc 2.10
The Sims : Making Magic has Safedisc 2.90.040
The Sims : On Holiday has Safedisc 2.51.021
The Sims: Deluxe Edition has Safedisc 2.72.000
The Sims: Hot Date has Safedisc 2.40.010
The Sims: Livin It Up has Safedisc 1.50.020
The Sims: Makin Magic has Safedisc 2.90
The Sims: Superstar has Safedisc 2.90.040
The Sims: Unleashed has Safedisc 2.80.010

Well in anyevent you can use clonecd or alc120. Personaly I have been useing CloneCD w/ the HIDE CD-R Media function on when I burn then off then im done burning. Another Program I use with CloneCD is Bones CCD4. This Little program has all the settings for the safedisks up to 2.9. I think this would be ideal for you. You Can download it here http://www.makeabackup.com/downfile56 Or if your going to use alc120 id use alcoholer which you can dl here http://www.makeabackup.com/downfile106
What these programs do is create a profile that will match the version of safedisc you are trying to burn so for an example lets say your burning with CloneCD and you open up Bones CCD4 Profiler. You click the version of safedisc you have then you Click Start CloneCD then once you click the CD copy method and your burner a profile will come up named CCD Profiler. You click that one then click burn. As far as the safedisc3 and 4 you may have to use CloneCD 5.2.4.2 *the 5.2.3.2 and had massive burning errrors and would cause almost any drive to fail a safedisc game. I also knowticed when I even tried to make another copy of my AOE2 which has safedisc on it with the 5.1 version I had an error which stated please insert correct disc. But I have been useing the 5.2.4.2 version and it burnt doom3 like a charm along w/ farcry. So go for it m8. ;)
