Have you tried Konvertore? it's available on the d/l page of this site, but just d/led it myself, haven't had a chance to try it out as yet. Also tmpgenc will do this, but be prepared to wait for it. Bailey
Hmmm, actually i'm not sure if that's right, i read somewhere you can, but the quality will be less than the original, no, that's divx/avi i'm thinking of, vob is a variant of mpeg2 isn't it, should be possible. Sorry if i've confused you, i know i've confused myself, now i'm going to have to find out once and for all, see you back here. Bailey
very easy to do. you have to use authoring software like mydvd 4.0 or dvd producer or dvdlab. Just load the mpg or mpeg file and create a menu and it does all the decoding/encoding into dvd compliant files(vob) and then youre ready to burn it with copytodvd or maybe nero though i dont like nero.
Nero 6 Ultra (not the OEM version) will do this. Actually, it's the Nerovision 2 program that is a sub component of Nero 6 Ultra. It even allows you to create some pretty slick menus for your DVD as well.
okay, gotta ask,(forgive me if this isn't the place) but how do you get nerovision 2 to produce a movie that will play on my stand alone? Everything I've tried with it gives me the chapter selections but cannot play them on the stand alone (but will play on computer). So now I'm trying the whole TMPGEnc but takes over 24 hours to do. shawn
