The best tool I found for cd ripping on windows is dbpoweramp .. google it. will rip to just about any format you want, but as usual you need to get a licensed copy if you want to rip to mp3. I used to rip to flac and then convert to whatever other format with a converting application later.
tucker.. Not everybody wants that crappy apple "mitherware" on their computer.. It's in your face 24/7 with updates and all sorts of other crap. popups, popups, popups.. It also does horribly degraded rips watermarked and messed about with for ipods... AVOID unless you have an ipod.
