How Do You Burn An Xbox Game To A CD, And Play It? I burned all of the files for the game "Halo 2" to a CD-R disk, but when I run the disk in my Xbox, nothing happens.
Yes, I have a modded Xbox. How I got the Game files, is because I have the Halo 2 disk. I just copied the files from the Halo 2 disk to a blank CD-R disk. I made it into an ISO file, and it teel did not work.
first you need a cdrw or dvdr for your xbox to read it.second you be better off using dvds as most xbox games are too big to fit on 1 cd.third i dont have a dvd burner yet so i havnt tryed burning xbox games but if you search the forums there are plenty of threads that tell you how to burn games or you could just stick it in your xbox and copy it straight to your hard drive providing its hard modded.
this is what you have to do: 1.create a new folder call it whatever. 2.put in it the following files. 1.configrd(xml document) 2.evoxrd (configuration settings) 3.a dummy file(dummyfile mfc application) 4.very important -shadowc.xbe (xbe file) file's 1,2 & 4 can be fpund in your evolutionX softmod program.you have to look for the dummy app. somewhere online. FTP your files into that folder. burn the content in it with nero. p.s. if you are burning HALO 2,There are four files you might have to delete.because halo 2 is 4.40gb.but don't worry it will still play just fine.
