How do you burn mpeg to DVD using Nero Burning ROM?

    How do you burn mpeg to DVD using Nero Burning ROM and make it playable in standard DVD players?

    Which type of mpeg? mpeg3 (music) mpeg2 or mpeg4(video)? What's the size?

    Hello All,

    binkie7, I have the same question.

    According to avicodec, my files are mpeg2.

    I burned it to a blank DVD and it plays in, PowerDVD, WinDVD, and Nero Showtime, on my computer, but won't play on my home DVD player.

    If you click open, the disc shows 2 folders.
    The first folder is titled AUDIO_TS, it is empty.

    The other one is titled VIDEO_TS it has 9 files: 2 BUP, 2 IFO, and 5 MPEG files.

    How do I burn it to a blank DVD so it will play on my standalone?

    I have Nero 7 Ultra, but would be willing to use any proggy.
