i use Collectorz Movie Collectorz to maintain a database and to publish my list over the net www.lessolutionshensol.com/dvd and i use 2 bookshelf to store the actual dvd
I've done almost every single method posted above, but I've never been so happy, and satisfied than with Romdex from discgear, WAYYY easy and cool disc retrieval and labeling, it comes with free software to make your own labels and it updates alphabetically everytime you add a new disc to the unit http://discgear.com
TriKlops At 70.00 + shipping, say 80.00 to store 100 disks, that would be about 400.00 to store what my 39.96 case with free shipping from meritline can store.( It can store 510 dvd's) Also it would take up way more space. $400 or $40 ??
I too just pickup to my second Discgear Selector 100fx unit from discgear.ca - this one for my office. Way easy to find and retrieve my CDs or DVDs. No more binders.. they just don't look good in the living room, next to the DVD player, or in the office. http://www.discgear.ca (if you are in Canada) MAX
what do I do with my OVER 1000 DVDs???? I can't use 10 of those disgear cases!! cost wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much! I'm with Oneacer here but I bought mine on sale at Supermediastore.com a while back ago.... holds 600 each, so I got two to start with..... and DVDProfiler is adjustable to edit what slot your disk is stored in and what case! Much more affective and easier to maintain!
This would be my solution, it you had some money to sling around...three of these puppy's stacked=1200 movies...LOL http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...yle-DVDPlayers-heroleft1-400_Disc_DVD_Changer
I'm looking into to one, but only one...LOL My wife tells me I'll have to get rid of the 300 CD changer though...
