how do you figure out what your dashboard is?

Hey how do you figure out what your dashboard is. when i turn my xbox on when it shows "XBOX Microsoft" it dosnt say EVOX or AVALANCH or anything it only says "XBOX Microsoft" then finally when it loads up it has my games and other files but still no EVOX or anything so what is my dashboard? THANKS

yes and i can select my games and launch menu and stuff from there.

 

so its not the ms dash and not Avalaunch or EvolutionX or UnleashedX, does it say Xecuter anywhere?

 

Yeah, perhaps you should choose a known/newer dash. If you can, try installing EvolutionX or one of the other mentioned ones.

 

how do i download a newer one?

 

get it off xbins and FTP to your xbox.

 

Yeah, the files and a tut can be found here.

And as for FTP'ing the new dash over; that might run into some problems. I think the only way is to re-install using a different dash and all.
