Hi CSI_chick. I think what your aiming at is animated GIFs I don’t have PSP8, although it will save an image as a GIF file I am pretty sure it will not interlace the GIF images to animate them. You will need something like GIF Movie Gear http://www.gamani.com/ I think you can link your PSP8 up with GIF Movie Gear. If you are still struggling with this then you can come by mine tonight, (but not during the England v Portugal game) with a nice bottle of Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune 1994, Jayer-Gilles, in fact any booze will do, and I’ll show how I do mine. Richard.
Thanks for the help. I would download the program, but I have been downloading so many programs that my bro is already mad at me. But someone told me to use Animation shop, which comes in PSP. So if you could at least give me some steps. Thanks.
Hello again CSI_Chick. Have you not had a whiz through the guide / help / manual / instructions!! You don’t give much away as to what exactly you want to do, or where exactly you are stuck. First you need a set of images; these can be jpegs or whatever. You can take one image and manipulate it with your PSP8, then copy and paste them into your GIF creator, press play and bingo. You can edit the size speed of the frames and all that sort of stuff. Here is one I created. I took theses images from the menu of the film Scarface, playing the DVD on my PC with Cyberlinks PowerDVD 1) Put the film on pause wherever 2) Click on capture 3) Move the frame on one by one, capturing every frame 4) PowerDVD safes the images as bmp’s in a selected folder. 5) Cut and paste them into your GIF creator 6) Resize and edit to your choice 7) Safe as Gif animation 8) Hey Presto Hope that makes some sort of sense as i am just rattling through this !!! Richard
What you can do is……….. Do you have any saved animated GIFs on your PC, if not surf around find some. Save to your PC (right click on pic ‘Save picture as………..’) Then open up the saved GIF with your ‘GIF movie gear’ This way you can see what is going with the frames in the animation, you can experiment with the speed size and all that stuff. Just so that you getter better idea with what is going on with the programme. Let me know how you get on, otherwise I just won’t manage to sleep at night, thinking that you were struggling!! Richard
