How do you overclock?????????????????

    Could someone tell me how to overclock my processor or point me to the thread that does?

    List what CPU you have.
    Also we need to know what board make/model you have, along with BIOS and list the memory make, model, capacity and quantity.
    Most CPUs will give a reasonable overclock, but it is very much dependant on the other parts of the system.
    Also if running on air, what temps do you get now, how much room in case for a replacement CPU cooler.
    Also need to think about what PSU you have and what other parts are running in the system, as pushing the CPU and RAM up will increase the load on the PSU, stability and power then come into play.
    It may seem like a lot to find out just to overclock the CPU, but you really need to get all the system details to do things properly.
    Saying all that, more details are required even to advise the most basic tweaks, and you need to be prepared for the fact that some systems are locked, so no overclocking is possible.

    You're not going anywhere with that system, the best option is to log onto the HP site and see if the board r3a revision will support a faster CPU, then look on ebay for one if it is supported.
    They were never designed with any overclocking potential, they were built as work horses for companies mainly.
