how do you patch up the recent games, like need for speed, Splinter Cell, MechAssault 2? I tried playing the backup games from my harddrive, but I can't. Also how do you clean the cache files. Can some one help?
oh boy.....process an acl with dvd2xbox or download a patch...dont ask how cuz u need to do something youself too.......this question has been answered 10 times in a page
Those games do not need to be patched. I bet you're using an outdated BIOS, that's the problem. Upgrade it to M8 BIOS or X2 5032.
I'm using the X2 4976.2 bios and those games work fine here.....might not be a age of the bios pronlem.
I do have them M8 bios, after I'm done backing up the games, for need for speed it loads up to the main menu and when I try to load up my game it freezes, Splinter Cell doesn't even leave that big screen that says Evolution, and MechAssault 2 it loads up to the main menu, but when I press Start it freezes. My other games does the same too. The only games I have working is Doom3 and halo 2. Any more ideas what might be wrong.
