PLEASE HELP- I downloaded a file using bitcommet and it is 99.9% done however it is not finishing for some stupid reason, and I want to watch it as is but I either need a player which plays .torrent or I need a program which will convert it it to .avi PLEASE HELP
Well first, the Torrent file itself only holds metadata about the file you're actually downloading. The torrent in itself isn't the movie file, but a little beacon making sure your file downloads properly. So the first thing you need to do is find where the actual file downloaded to. Secondly, because of bittorents method of downloading you may or may not be able to view the file even when you find it. This is because the file downloads bit by bit at random, not in sequential order, often making the file unplayable/usable until completed. Third, open the torrent file again and let it sit overnight. Someone could've re-seeded(sharing via upload) the file so it can get to 100%.
