    O.k. so the psp was found at your friends but you still couldnt get music at your friends house? What is the program that you are using?

    ok thats it for the questions.

    1st-put the usb cable in a diferent port.

    2nd- when it finds the psp, or if it does, go to my computer. Then go to removable disk x(letting x be the letter of where your psp is) you will see what i mean. then go to the "psp" forlder and create a new folder, it should say MUSIC, be sure to capatilize. then when you go to your music just drag and drop.

    3rd- All music should be in a MP3 format.

    hope this helps, don't leave the thread. say if it works or not.

    See ya later -->Codeman74<--

    Gur..
    Are you sure it says psp not found? lol cause that would be some sh*t. Im sure you meant that it said hardware not found, or usb device not recognized.
    Go to C:/windows/sytem32/drivers
    look towards the bottom.. do you see a file that says usbstor.sys
    if not get windows service pack 2, if you are runnin xp
    if u do have it call yer comps manufacturur and gettem to help you run a diagnostics on your usb ports... If nothing is wrong with your usb ports then you are going to need to get a new usb cord. get a sony/nyko cord. stay away from madcatz and other super cheap usb cables.
    make sure its in removable drivex:/Psp/Music
    and like codeman says make sure its in mp3 format
    hope this helps

    p.s. @codeman.. it doesnt have to be capitalized

    from what i know about music on GTA, is that you get a program that rips it straight from the cd to GTA format. look around on psp-hacks.net for it, or other websites like that
