I have seen quite a few posts about people having problems burning newly released movies. Two of them are Shaun of the Dead and Resident Evil: Apocolypse. Here is my tutorial on how to make them work.

    Shaun of the Dead...
    1) Decrypt with DVD Decrypter and put the 7.5 GB file on your HD.
    2) DVD shrink has been having problems with burning this disc even after decrypting it w/ DVD Decrypter, so I used CloneDVD 2.
    3) The DVD works perfectly, but does not have the title menu included.

    Resident Evil 2...
    1) Download VobBlanker 1.6.0.3
    2) Do what you gotta do to get the movie on your HD.
    3) Use DVD Shrink to shrink the size down and burn.
    4) DVD will work perfecly, full with menus and all.

    Little Black Book...
    1) Download the AnyDVD's trial from slysoft's website.
    2) Install it on your computer, restart your computer. (NOTE: This is not a burning program!!!)
    3) After your computer reboots, you should see a menu that pops up giving the information about the movie in the DVD drive, (it will get rid of all of the protections automatically!)
    4) Do everything you normally do with DVD shrink to burn the movie.
    5) Your DONE!

DVD companies are starting to put new security features on their discs to prevent people from backing up their movies. No matter what, there will ALWAYS be a way to crack through the protections, just gotta find the right programs.

Just adding My 2cents. all I used was Anydvd v4.5.2.1
and Dvdshrink v3.2.0.15, and it worked just fine
    with no problems.

DVD Decrypter 3.5.2.0 the newest version is able to copy these newly releases or you can always use SlySoft's AnyDVD prog.

I was able to use DVD Decrypter and DVD2One on "Shaun of the Dead" when DVDShrink was unable to compress the decrypted files. This worked great and gave me the full DVD w/title menu and extras.

Another way to back up Resident Evil Apocalypse is to download and run the VOBBlocker program. Use a folder called VIDEO_TS in a temp directory to store the results. DVDXCopyRF will work on this folder just fine. Does all of the menus and both Widescreen and fullscreen.
