How long do you think the PS3's lifespan will be?

Come on now.. The system is not even out yet and you guys are already thinking when his life span will end !!?? As far as I'm concern, the lifespan of a game console will end at the very moment when I'll feel that I don't want to play it anymore.

 

Here! Here! I am still playing my NES, SNES, and N64. Why? Because they are still great fun! There is nothing quite like finally getting 100 superjumps in Super Mario RPG, or flying along with the princess playing mario bros 2 (what were they smoking) Old games never die... at least untill the EEPROM gets corrupted.

 

My ps2 had no problems and i got it since it came out, it hikn it will be 5 years now.=D think ps3 will be likely the same but who cares, my snes stil works and so does my sega genises thing, same w. my n64, all perfectly. I cant imagine anby graphics better than the next gen concols. I still think that Ps2 wil stil be in market till its next concol omes out because of all the great games comming out for it, exampel final fantasy 12...oo i cant w8

 

if the xbox 360 or the revoltion takes japan and sells good in america i give it 1 year before they change its look and 3-4 yrs maybe 5 until sony tries to rush a system that will not be that great. if it does sell good in japan it will stay for 5-7 yrs. but seriously japan will make or break what system does good this next gen. unless one of the systems does super super well in amrerica and europe

 

M$ wont change the Xbox 360's look. They're not like Sony that makes two models of every system instead of working on their next gen system. There was no need for Sony to make the PS2 slim, even though it is cool. It was just a marketing ploy to try and compete when the 360 comes out.

Haha I can't wait until I'm extremely old and retire. I will spend all of my time playing amazing videogames. I love technology.
