Hi, I'm totally new at this thing, so I would really appreciate any help that I can get. I'm trying to burn .avis file on Nero Express 6. (Can put three 24 minute video clips on my 700MB cdr.) The thing is, I've waited more than one hour for it to encode! It seems that every one minute passes by, there's only 1% of the video clip encoded. Does it mean that it will take 100 min for 1 cdr to be completed? Is it really meant to be like that? Or do I need to get/download something else? I have really no idea on what's going on. Thanks very much for all of your help!

You really shouldn"t be useing Nero to encode your Files because Nero is Known for being one of the worst Quality mpeg encoders there is...You should use a Good Quality standalone encoder like the MainConcept encoder or Tmpgenc to encode your Files mpeg and then you can use Nero to Just burn the files to CD-R....
