im asking this question with double meaning. i mean, how long will my xecuter2.3 lite+ last, as in how long will it take to breakdown or stop functioning, im using my xbox everyday and the ship is always enabled when i play, averaging about 1-2 hours a day playing games on the xbox, and im just concern if i should be aware of anything happening to it. the other thing is, that i read that the chip isnt going to be made anymore!! thats crazy, but i understand they are working on generation 4 chips, i just hope theres a solderless chip just like the xecuter2.3blite+ in the future.
It'll last as long as your Xbox, maybe longer lol. After all it only modifies the boot up sequence and thats it. I've got an older X-Ecuter chip in my other Xbox and there hasn't been a single problem. I run it longer than 4-5 hours a day too, mainly watching or listening to media though it.
Ill vouch for the x2 they just keep goin thing is , unlike an xbox that has moving parts etc, a modchip doesnt, compare it to say, a digital clock, (albiet without the digits) theres nothing to "wear" out as such, and the modchip wont overheat etc. Youll be fine yup, itll last til xbox 3 is here probably hehe.
